Show Description:

At some point, Cirque du Soleil productions become some of the most definitive shows of the Vegas Strip. Its creator, Franco Dragone, has produced and directed numerous other popular Vegas shows such as O and Le Reve, but many consider the Las Vegas show Mystere to be his finest work. Located amongst the glowing lights of its eponymous Treasure Island Theater, Mystere Las Vegas is a kaleidoscope of colors and surreal imagery, dreamlike in its conception and entrancing in its execution.

If you believe local papers like the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mystere Vegasis a must-see - the publication has named Mystere the 'Best Production Show' eight times since the production's inception. And it's not really hard to see why.

Mystere is about passion and mysticism - about redefining what 'circus' entertainment can signify. Variations on standard circus elements from lion tamers to clowns to acrobats appear during a Mystere Vegas show, but they are often clouded in shifting colors and bizarre costumes, providing a unique quality that has been the show's greatest selling point. Mystere Vegas blends so many types of entertainment together, with a backdrop of driving, tribal rhythms that are just as innovative and immaculate as the show is colorful.

Featuring an international cast of dozens of acrobats, dancers, singers, and musicians, the Las Vegas show Mystere continues to cement itself as one of the city's signature shows, running Monday - Wednesday, and Saturday at 7:00pm & 9:30pm and Sundays at 4:30pm & 7:00pm.

Show Biography:

The brainchild of many creators, Franco Dragone often receives top billing for the Las Vegas show Mystere. He has directed dozens of shows in both America and Europe (primarily in Italy) and is currently focusing his energies into Le Reve at the Wynn Casino. And while much of the proceedings at a Mystere Vegas show bear Dragone's stamp, composer Rene Dupere had much to do with the final product too. A longtime collaborator of Dragone, Dupere's surreal and animalistic score provides the framework for the visual masterpiece that is Mystere Las Vegas, and he is an award-winning musician in his own right.

Mystere Las Vegas Seating Chart

The first Mystere Las Vegas performance occurred in 1993, and the show has lost little steam over the years, boasting over six million tickets sold since it's initial run in Treasure Island. For a city famous for its short attention span, it would be disingenuous to call Mystere's extended run anything less than a resounding success.
